April in the Alamo City

The month of April is jam-packed in San Antonio, Texas! In this family oriented, Southeast Texas city the first month of spring has a host of events to keep young and old busy. A much loved festivity is Fiesta San Antonio, a seventeen day long series of events – from parades to cookouts to concerts and art shows!

The event started back in 1891 with one parade and has evolved into a multi-week extravaganza at venues across the city. The celebration features events like Family Funday Sunday, which caters to families with children, as well as A Night in Old San Antonio (NIOSA) for the adults. This year Fiesta runs from April 10-27, 2014. It is the perfect time of year to visit the great state of Texas and the BuySparklers.com home city!
