An arch of sparklers for your wedding

My favorite picture of my Mom and Dad's wedding is of them running under an arch of sabers. My Mom has clutched the side of her dress and ducked her head ever so slightly and my Dad is dressed to the nines in his Army uniform. Their faces are lit up with big smiles. It's a great military wedding tradition and creates a very memorable image for me.

Maybe that is why I like seeing sparklers used at the grand exit of a wedding. It is very reminiscent of my Mom and Dad's exit. Couples dash under lit sparklers with faces full of excitement and joy.

I found these pictures on the Jade McCully Photography website which illustrate this kind of exit perfectly. Long sparklers (#36 Gold), big smiles and a beautiful set of photographs.
