Ideas for Wedding Poppers

Looking for something different to follow the Best Man's Toast at the wedding reception?  Scatter Champagne Wedding Poppers around the table and have guests pop them by pulling the string after the toast.  Guests of all ages will enjoy the big bang as silver confetti and streamers burst out of the little champagne bottle containers.

Champagne Wedding Poppers can also be used in the bride and groom's exit.  Brides have ordered the poppers to give to smaller children instead of giving them a sparkler, which is safer for children under the age of 8.

Another fun idea for wedding poppers is to use them at the wedding rehearsal when the bride and groom kiss or guests can cheer them on as they rehearse their walk down the aisle.

Details ......

Trying to decide what size sparkler to use at your wedding?  We have 3 fabulous sizes to chose from that will fit into any budget.

Our #14 Wedding Sparkler burns for 1.5 minutes and we recommend that the bride plans on giving each guest 2 sparklers to allow enough time for the bride and groom to make their way through a tunnel of sparklers.

Our #20 Wedding Sparkler burns for 2 minutes which give the bride and groom ample time to make their grand exit with all the sparklers still lit.

The #36 Sparkler burns for an incredible 4 minutes and when planned properly, can create stunning photos!

But keep in mind that it is too difficult to light the sparklers with matches or a regular lighter.  To save time, it is best to use a BBQ lighter to light the first couple of sparklers and then have each guest dip into a lit sparkler.  Staging a couple of people with BBQ lighters at the front and back of the line will make the exit go off without a hitch.

Saint Patrick's Day Wedding

Whether you are Irish or just want some extra luck for your wedding, Saint Patrick’s Day is becoming a popular day to get married on. There are plenty of fun ways to incorporate this theme, but green is an obvious color choice. Luckily, there are so many different shades of green to use that brides will surely find just the right hue to bring the luck of the Irish to their special day!

The Irish really know how to party, so make sure your reception is a glorious blast. I found this incredible cake from Marmalade Cake Company that sets the tone for a fun Saint Paddy’s Day wedding.

Be creative and have fun with your Irish wedding!

"May the light of friendship guide your paths together. May the laughter of children grace the halls of your home. May the joy of living for one another trip a smile from your lips, A twinkle from your eye. May the Spirit of Love find a dwelling place in your hearts" ~an Irish Blessing

Photographers have great tips for fantastic pictures

If you want to capture incredible pictures of your grand exit, it is a good idea to talk to your photographer and let him / her know in advance that you will be using sparklers.  They know how to stage great pictures that you will cherish for years to come.

Amie Morgan, a photographer in CA, tells her brides that although it is VERY tempting and hard not to run through the tunnel of sparklers, she suggests walking through them instead.  The sparkler pictures have a slow shutter speed and pictures turn out better when the bride and groom take a leisurely stroll instead of the brisk jaunt through the tunnel.

This picture shows Adam and Chelsea Griffin taking a casual walk through the tunnel of sparklers at their Texas Wedding.  Their photographer, Mariel Garza, took a fabulous picture of them as they left their reception.

Just remember to talk to your photographer in adavace so they can help create magical memories for you!
